Vincenzo Zottola
Tribute to Vincenzo Zottola by his Granddaughters
by Alexandra and Cristina Zottola
Pap – as we so fondly called him – was more than a grandfather to us. Pap taught us how to be not only good people, but also honorable people. Having survived as a soldier in WWII to later becoming a successful and dedicated businessman in the United States, Pap was the perfect example of the American Dream well lived. As you all know, Pap was not only a great storyteller and the life of every party, but he was also the man we all went to when we needed support and guidance. Pap was a man of great faith, whose generosity had no bounds.
We will always remember Pap as our hero at the head of the table – where he was happiest with a plate full of Nonna’s food, surrounded by all of his loved ones . . . with their plates full of food too.
Our hope for our family is that we continue the legacy of our loving grandfather and Angel Vincent Zottola. We love you forever, Pap. Until we meet again . . . ALORA
